Beginning June 13, head to your local library to sign-up.  Just for signing up you’ll receive special incentives and if you meet your reading goals you’ll be registered to win awesome prizes including passes to the John Ball Zoo, Double JJ Resort, Boyne Mountain and Avalanche Bay Water Park and a trip for four to New York City!

Congratulations to Freeport District Library for being the winner of our Paul Collins Art Contest.  As part of this year’s Summer Reading Club, libraries across West Michigan were asked to have their children create a piece of art that showcased why they “love where they live.”

At Freeport District Library they had over 60 children come out to paint ceiling tiles with creative designs.  As the winning library they will recieve a private art class from Paul Collins as well as a painting that will be dedicated to their library.

Maranda has teamed up with your local library to encourage reading with the Maranda Summer Reading Club!  Even though kids are on a break from school, there is no excuse for taking a break from reading.

For participating in the Maranda Summer Reading Club, kids are eligible to win great prizes courtesy of WOTV 4 and their partners.  Prizes include a Meijer gift card, tickets to Avalanche Bay, a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and so much more.  Kids can sign-up for the Maranda Summer Reading Club by stopping by their local library and registering.  Listed below are the libraries participating in this summer’s program.
