Employment Tips for Teens
In this week’s show we talked to two West Michigan employers that rely heavily on teens during the summer season. Here are their five best tips for getting that summer job.
1. Take it seriously and be professional. Even if it is your first job, it is important and the employer wants to you see if that way as well.
2. Bring the correct paperwork. When you’re filling out an application you’ll need your drivers license or a picture ID, social security number and in some cases a work permit. Make sure you check with your school guidance counselor to see if you’ll need to complete a work permit.
