Every time West Michigan families head to the movies, they face a tough decision, “what movie should we see?” It’s becoming harder and harder to identify a movie that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Thanks to the Dove Foundation it’s becoming much easier.
Maranda has teamed up with the Dove Foundation to present the Dove Family Film Festival, September 19 through November 6, 2008. This festival features weekly movies that are approved by the Dove Foundation as “family friendly” and appropriate for all ages. All films are totally free to children 12 and under and adults get in for just $2.50.
Here is this year’s line up:
- September 19 – 25 Nim’s Island
- September 26 – October 2 The Spiderwick Chronicles
- October 3 – 9 Space Chimps
- October 10 – 16 Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull
- October 17 – 23 Kit Kittredge: An American Girl
- October 24 – 30 Kung Fu Panda
- October 31 – November 6 Horton Hears a Who
Movies can be seen at Celebration Cinema locations around West Michigan. For a list of locations and movie times visit www.celebrationcinema.com. For more information about the Dove Foundation visit www.dove.org. Print off your e-ticket below and enjoy the show!
