One of my favorite Halloween happenings for families is the annual “Zoo Goes Boo!” at the John Ball Zoo and it all kicks off Friday! The event runs four days: 10/16 & 17 and 10/23 & 24 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. It’s great for kids because they can dress up, walk through the trick or treat trail and have a lot of fun! The John Ball Zoo staff does a great job of adding all the extras that make it super special! Things like drumming, nocturnal animal encourters, animals of the night crafts, hay dives and new this year-a yuck-ology station!! The cost is $5 for all ages. Zoo members are $2.
