SAFE WATER
Living in Michigan you are never more than six miles away from a large body of water. This is great news for swimming, boating and floating but it also means we need to do all we can to keep our kids and families safe in the water. This weekend on “Where You Live” we’ll look at a variety of things your family needs to know to be safe this summer. Find out how your kids can get out of the grip of the rip tide, survival swim techniques, CPR basics, how to properly fit a life jacket and personal water craft safety. It’s everything you need to know from experts at Holland Aquatic Center, The American Red Cross, Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department and Kent County Sheriff’s Department. Join us for “Where You Live” Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on WOTV 4 and 6:30 p.m. on WOOD TV 8.
