Suprisingly Sophia loved trying to rake like mom and dad and put leaves in the bags. Our yard has already filled up with more leaves and she just asked this morning when we get to rake again....turned out to be a win win for everyone. My husband loves to cook and is very creative in the kitchen. I on the other hand am not, but I try to look for ways to all help out. I love to eat, but hate to cook. Recently, though, my wife and I have started cooking together, and it's become great "us" time. There's no TV, no computer, no twitter, no anything keeping us from talking. It's just us in the kitchen working together and talking about our days, our plans, or just whatever is on our minds. I'd imagine bringing the kids into the kitchen, away from the Xbox, could be a great way to connect too! For me, it’s cooking. I love to eat, but hate to cook.
