I love hearing about great ways to parents stay connected to their kids.  I just met a woman who shared that she has developed this cool way to stay connected to her son who is away at college.  She writes “alpha letters”.  Each week she takes a letter of the alphabet and writes about a word that starts with that letter.  The word might trigger a fond family memory, a funny story, or some encouraging insights.  She said that her son has commented that it’s something he really looks forward to each week.   Great idea!!  If you have a fun way you like to stay connected to your kids, I’d love to hear about it!
