Hi Maranda,
On Earth Day our school newspaper student staff did two things to heighten our school’s awareness of our precious earth.
They held a Let’s Litter Less @ Lunch Day. The students had to pack their lunches in recyclable containers and all packaging in their lunches had to be recyclable or returnable (pop cans). We went from having six full garbage cans to one. (we have pictures)
Also, the newspaper staff put out a newspaper all about what we can do to protect and take care of our Earth. (if you’d like a copy we could email it to you)
Thanks, Monica
